Welcome to WorkABility
The WorkABility Program is designed to help persons with disabilities build the employability skills they need to secure and maintain meaningful employment. Services are offered through three distinct streams, each tailored to meet individuals where they are on their employment readiness journey.
Program Eligibility
All Clients accepted into Service must be:
- At least 18 years of age
- Reside in Alberta
- Unemployed or Underemployed
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or legally entitled to work or train in Canada as defined by Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada
- Have an identifiable or self-disclosed disability that is interfering with the individual’s ability to reach an employment goal. Disabilities may be physical, sensory, cognitive, neurological, a mental health condition, or a combination of the above.
- Ready, willing and able to have sufficient physical and mental wellness to participate in the assessment process and to receive employment-related supports that will enable participation in services and employment.
