As you begin to explore and interact with other members on EdgeLMS, we want to make sure that everyone feels safe and respected. That’s why we have a behavioural contract in place. This contract outlines the expectations for how we should treat each other and what is and isn’t allowed on the platform. By using EdgeLMS you are acknowledging your responsibility to uphold these expectations and help us maintain a positive environment for everyone.
- Be kind and respectful to others on the platform.
- Share positive content that inspires or educates others.
- Do not post any inappropriate media or images that could make others feel uncomfortable, including in private messages. This includes but is not limited to media depicting violence, drugs, controversial topics, pornography, or hate of any kind.
- Do not engage in any bullying, harassment, or hate speech toward or about others.
- Do not discuss any topics that are inappropriate or potentially triggering, such as violence, drugs, or sexual content.
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, religious discrimination, and any other form of discrimination or hate speech directed towards someone based on their identity or characteristics will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Use inclusive language that is considerate of all members and identities, and avoid using language that could be offensive or hurtful to others.
- Celebrate and respect the diversity of our community, and refrain from making negative comments or jokes about someone’s identity or culture.
- Respect and honour the boundaries of others, and do not make assumptions or judgments about someone’s experiences or beliefs.
- Take the time to listen and learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences of others, and engage in respectful and meaningful discussions.
- Report any inappropriate behaviour or content to the platform moderators immediately.
- Remember that your actions have an impact on the community as a whole and that you are responsible for helping to foster a welcoming, kind, and inclusive community.
- The content of private messages is visible to administrators. The above requirements apply in private conversations even if all parties agree to ignore one or more of these expectations.
- Do not post illegal content of any kind, including copy written materials. Law enforcement may be notified.
By using EdgeLMS you agree to adhere to the Behavour Contract at all times and understand that you are responsible for your own actions and safety on the platform. Any violations of this contract may result in disciplinary action including summary removal and/or referal to law enforcement.
